Neil Woodford to join small PE firm
Invesco Perpetual’s Neil Woodford is to move to a small private equity group next year.
Woodford, who is currently head of UK equities at Invesco Perpetual, will join Oakley Capital Management in May 2014.
He will manage retail and institutional clients’ money at Oakley Capital.
Peter Dubens says: “I am delighted Neil is joining and we fully support his desire to create his own transformational asset management business soon after joining Oakley Capital. Woodford has worked at Invesco Perpetual since 1988 and currently runs the Invesco Perpetual Income and Invesco Perpetual High Income Funds.
