Jupiter has announced the appointment of Jason McAleer as head of dealing.

He joins Jupiter from Newton Investment Management, where he worked for 14 years, spending the past nine as head of dealing. Prior to that he worked as a dealer at Sarasin Investment Management and Chase Asset Management.

McAleer replaces Jane Philips, who left the company in September 2013 after 12 years. He will be responsible for managing Jupiter’s team of eight dealers and developing the team’s capabilities.
