The second annual David Setters Trophy cricket tournament will take place on 17 May.

The event, which is held at the Honourable Artillery Company cricket pitch near Old Street, London, will host teams from Interxion, ION, INTL FC Stone, the LME and Societe Generale.

Last year’s tournament was won by the LME.

The tournament will start at 9:30 with the final being held at 18:40 followed by a drinks reception.

The trophy is named in honour of David Setters, a veteran of the futures industry and former managing director of FOW.

In 2012 David was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) and has worked tirelessly since then to raise awareness about MND and raise funds to find a cure.

He established the City Against MND organisation and works closely with the MND association.

Sponsors of the David Setters Trophy include Ethypharm, Interxion, ABN Amro Clearing and Cinnober.

There are several sponsorship opportunities still available. All proceeds go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Tickets to attend the tournament are free of charge.
