India’s newest commodity exchange to go live in weeks
Kotak Mahindra Bank is promoting the exchange, formerly known as the Ahmedabad Commodity Exchange. It was awarded national level commodity exchange status on August 11.
A spokesperson for ACE would not say when the exchange would go live, but a source close to the bourse said “within weeks”.
He expected it to offer futures on bullion and agricultural products.
ACE will join the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange of India, National Multi-Commodity Exchange and Indian Commodity Exchange.
