CME hires Prokop as head of energy
He joins from Amerex Energy, the OTC energy broker, where he developed the company’s futures and clearing operations, data business and regulatory affairs.
During his 25 years in the energy markets, Prokop has worked at FuturesSource, Gull Energy Finance Corporation and Eastbrook Futures, all based in Houston, and Merrill Lynch Futures in New York.
