DGCX pays tribute to former chief Anderson
DGCX has paid tribute to its former chief executive Gary
Anderson who passed away last week.
The Dubai exchange said in a short statement that Anderson
passed away on November 13 after battling cancer for the last few months. He
stepped down as chief executive of the exchange last month.
“In the two years that he served as CEO of DGCX, his vision,
passion and leadership made a huge difference to the development of the
Exchange's business and all of the team,” the exchange said.
“His death is a big loss not only to DGCX, but also to the
wider industry. He will be fondly remembered for the great contribution he made
to the exchange with his gentle yet strong leadership style.
“The thoughts and prayers of the management and employees of
DGCX go out to Gary's family.”
